Barbara J. Eadler Hunt

CENTERVILLE, Ind. - Barbara J. Eadler Hunt, age 77, of Centerville, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, in Ft. Myers, Florida. Born June 27, 1930, in Richmond, to Lester and Belva Asbury, she was a life-long resident of Wayne County. Barbara retired from Reid Hospital in 1981 as a Nurse Technician. She was a charter member of the Faith United Lutheran Church and a member of the Centerville Senior Center and the local quilting club. Barbara received many blue ribbons and Grand Champion for her quilting and crafts. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, photography, and spending time with her family. Barbara leaves behind with her family her love for life. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Charles Glen Hunt Jr.; children, Eric Eadler and his wife Tonya of Fishers, Ind., Debbie Sullivan and her husband Paul of Florida, Mike Eadler and his wife Vicki of California, Kip Eadler of Richmond, Chris Eadler and his wife Christi of Florida, and Tim Eadler and his wife Kim of Richmond; step-mother, Mary Asbury; step-children, Glen Hunt and his wife Kathy of Alaska, Nancy Keithley and her husband Steve of Indianapolis, Elaine Showalter of Indianapolis, and Cheryl Phelps of Kentucky; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wally Asbury and his wife Marylyn of Florida and Gary Asbury of Arizona; sister-in-law, Evelyn Alexander; nieces; nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Keith M. Eadler, who died in 1984; parents; special niece, Michelle Alexander; and sister-in-law, Donna Russell. Funeral service for Barbara J. Eadler Hunt will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville, with Pastor Stephen Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at the funeral home.
