George L. Feaselman

RICHMOND, Ind. – George L. Feaselman, age 79, of Richmond, died Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Arbor Trace Exceptional Senior Living. Born April 11, 1935, in Richmond, to Carl and Sara Jane Stanley Feaselman, George was a life-long resident of Richmond. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, having served during the Korean War. George worked at Dana Corporation and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed travelling and spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughters, Debbie S. (Donnie) Shepherd of Williamsburg, Indiana, and Sherrie (Paul Hitchcock) Williams of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; step-daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” K. (Jack) Parshall of Richmond and Deborah “Debbee” (Rick) Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio; step-sons, Dean (Karen) Wissler of Richmond and Brian (Becky) Wissler of Citrus Springs, Florida; grandchildren, Tony (Anna) Watson, Tammy (Matt) Edwards, and Heather (Derrick) Jameson, all of Oklahoma and Amanda (Brent) Henderson and Corey Williams, both of Richmond; many step-grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Heisman of Ohio; brother, Charles "Bud" Feaselman of Georgia; nieces; nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his second wife of 17 years, Betty M. Ingalls Wissler Feaselman, who died October 19, 2012; first wife of 35 years, Thelma Justeen Feaselman, who died October 13, 1996; son, Verlin Watson; grandsons, Chris Lewis and Barry Williams Jr.; and siblings, Carl Feaselman Jr., Marion Jay Feaselman, and Donna Guy. Visitation for George L. Feaselman will be from 12 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Shepherd Jr. officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
