Leah D. Hunsinger

RICHMOND, Ind. – Leah D. Hunsinger, age 67, of Richmond, died Friday, July 13, 2007, at her residence. Born July 1, 1940, in Ludington, Michigan to Walter G. and E. Pauline Russell Tower, she was a resident of Richmond most of her life. Leah was a graduate of McKenzie High School, Detroit, Michigan and she attended Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a licensed Real Estate Agent and had worked for Lingle Realty and Townsend Realty. Leah was a Pharmacy Technician at Reid Hospital for 20 years. She bowled in the Tuesday Night Bowlettes for over 25 years, and she enjoyed spending time in her pool and with her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Moore and husband Robert of Centerville and Kristina Mustin and fiancé Jefferey Garrett of Centerville; three sons, Raymond L. Hunsinger III and his wife Kim of Richmond, Kenneth Hunsinger of Cromwell, Connecticut, and Keith Hunsinger and his wife Ann of Richmond; eight grandchildren, Raymond IV, Joshua, Robert, Thomas, Michael, Joseph, Zachary and Lauren; four great-grandchildren, Alex, Trinity, Brent and Landyn; one sister, Sally McCarthy of Altamonte Springs, Florida; nieces; nephews; brother-in-law, Gary Hunsinger and his wife Lill of Michigan; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Gibbs and her husband Ted, Karen Gillam and her husband George, Kathy Kitchen and Phyllis Hunsinger all of Michigan; cousins, Joann Hughes and her husband Bo and Jackie Roth and her husband Mike all of Richmond; many special friends; and her dog Bodi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Hunsinger Jr. who died on October 19, 1994; her parents; grandson, Brent; and brother, Wally Tower. Funeral service for Leah D. Hunsinger will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond, Indiana with Rev. Todd Riebe officiating. Entombment will be at the Earlham Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the funeral home.
