CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Lisa J. Brown, age 53, of Centerville, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her home. Born July 1, 1959, in Batesville, Indiana, to Leo and Jean Kennel Kruthaupt, she grew up in Brookville and Franklin County before moving to Centerville in 2000. Lisa was a 1977 graduate of Brookville High School and received her RN Certification from Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she served as Class President. She worked at Reid Hospital as an RN in Outpatient Surgery for over 20 years and was known for being an excellent caregiver. Lisa was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and also attended Centerville Christian Church. She always helped others and was known for her big heart. Lisa loved her family dearly and always put others before herself. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and riding motorcycles with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Michael A. Brown, to whom she was married on September 30, 1989, in Brookville; sons, Max Brown and Luke Brown, both of Centerville; parents; brothers, Robert Kruthaupt and Daniel (Denise) Kruthaupt, both of Brookville; sister, Teresa (Bernie) Rosenberger of Brookville; mother-in-law, Regena Brown of Blooming Grove; brother-in-law, Mark Brown of Connersville; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law, Charles K. Brown. A Rosary service and Blessing for Lisa J. Brown will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond, with Father Sean Danda of St. Michael Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Abernathy officiating.
