Rebecca "Becky" Ann Dickey

RICHMOND, Ind. – Rebecca “Becky” Ann Dickey, age 83, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Friends Fellowship Community, with her daughter and stepdaughters at her side. Born May 8, 1939, in Richmond, Indiana, to Ronald Orlo and Norma Worch Stanley, on her parents’ dairy farm, Prospect Hill Farm, Rebecca was a life-long resident of Richmond. She was a member of 4-H and showed Jersey cows. Becky graduated from Richmond High School and went to work at Alcoa Manufacturing for 32 years. After retirement, she spent time with her family, volunteered at Reid Health and was involved in the Tarum Shrine with her husband. Becky loved her dogs over the years and spoiled them. Becky married John “Jack” Dickey in 1981 and they were married for 27 years. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Ann Costlow; grandchildren, Gary S. (Katie) Nelson and Leah N. (Justin) Suhre; six great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Sarah (Gary) Paul and Becky (Butch) Thompson; stepson, Jeff (Cindy) Dickey; six step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Dickey in 2008; her parents; son-in-law, Judson J. Costlow; and grandson, Jacob Paul. Visitation for Rebecca Ann Dickey will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at First English Lutheran Church, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at First English Lutheran Church, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond, IN 47374 with Pastor Chip Belanga officiating.
