Sandra Sue Wadsworth

RICHMOND, Ind. – Sandra Sue Wadsworth, age 73, of Boston, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born March 22, 1940, in Greenville, Ohio, to Forrest Ray and Marie (Wright) Marshall, Sue was raised in Darke County, Ohio, then moved to Centerville, Richmond, and finally to Boston, Indiana. She graduated from Westmont High School in Hollansburg, Ohio. Sue worked at Belden Wire and Cable in Richmond, from which she retired January 6, 2004, after nearly 42 years of service. Sue and her husband, Lloyd, have been longtime members of Faith United Lutheran Church and Sue was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post #1108. Over the years, she enjoyed church activities, reading, gardening, fishing, sewing, card games, jigsaw puzzles, and following Centerville Bulldog basketball, but she was most content in simply being with family and friends. Sue was one of fourteen children. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd E. Wadsworth, to whom she was married March 23, 1984; son-in-law, Don Goss of Richmond; grandchildren, Jennifer Bickford (Matt) of Augusta, Georgia, Stephanie Goss of New Castle, Kayla Goss of Richmond, Valerie Dalbey of Dayton, Ohio, Brandon Dalbey of Centerville, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Avery Bickford, both of Augusta, Georgia; brother, Keith (Arlene) Marshall of Greenville, Ohio; sister, Jeannette (Doyle) Burns of Greenville, Ohio; three step-children, Phil, Beverly, and Aunda; several step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. She is also preceded in death and is now reunited with her daughter, Tami (Ramsey) Goss, whom she dearly loved and missed. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Chico and Cash. Funeral service for Sandra Sue Wadsworth will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Faith United Lutheran Church, 4015 National Road West, Richmond. Visitation will be Saturday evening, November 16, 2013, from 4-8:00 p.m. at Doan and Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Centerville.
