Virginia Joan Fulle

RICHMOND, Ind. – Virginia Joan Fulle, age 85, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Golden Living Center/Golden Rule. Born March 5, 1926, in Eaton, Ohio, she was the loving daughter of Gerald and Gertrude “Trudy” Pittsinger Frazier. Virginia lived most of her life in Richmond and attended Richmond High School. On June 30, 1945, she married the love of her life, Donald Fulle. Together they had three wonderful children, Jone Marie (Nic) Fulle Walter of Richmond, Mark Allen (Vickie) Fulle of Richmond and Deborah Ann (the late Bruce) Ashline of Alabama. Virginia was grandmother to Angela (Dewey) Lakes, Stephanie (Steve) Bishop, Sean (Julie) Anderson, and Heather (Tom) Champion; great-grandmother to Jennifer Lakes, Zackery Lakes, Stephen Lakes, Ella Wilson, Madeline Bishop, Taylor Bishop, Zoey Anderson, Myles Anderson, Lucy Anderson, Emily Champion, Ethen Champion, and Elijah Champion; and great-great-grandmother to Keaton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H.A. Fulle; parents; and brother, David Frazier. Virginia was a former member of the VFW and treasurer for the American Legion Harry Ray Post 65 Auxiliary. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Over the years, Virginia worked for a number of local businesses as a bookkeeper, including Miles Builders, Otto Realty, Barker’s Fireplace Shop, and BF Goodrich. Virginia was known for her sense of humor and delicious food. She was famous for her pies. Whether she was a treasured friend or adored daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, or aunt, Virginia Fulle was loved by all and will be forever missed. Visitation for Virginia Joan Fulle will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Mick Miller officiating. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
