Charles A. 'Chuck' Paul

RICHMOND, Ind. - Charles A. 'Chuck' Paul, age 68, of Richmond, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at his home in the presence of his family. Born November 25, 1947, in Milton, Indiana, to Clem and Otta Paul, Chuck was a life-long resident of this area. He attended Williamsburg School and graduated from Webster-Williamsburg High School in 1966. Chuck received an associate's degree from the Indiana Business College and the International Accounting Society. He was assistant controller at the Perfect Circle Foundry in New Castle, Indiana, in 1967 and 1968. Chuck spent 40 years as co-owner of H & P Marathon and Westside Service Auto Sales. He also operated a privately owned tax service. Chuck was a member of the Centerville Nazarene Church, Centerville Lions Club, and the Gideons Richmond Camp for the last 12 years, serving in various positions. He enjoyed playing golf and had a passion for driving and owning new cars. Chuck was proud to have donated his body to the Indiana University Anatomical Education Program in Indianapolis, Indiana. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Teresa 'Terri' Paul, to whom he was married on December 14, 1985; daughters, Marica (Bill) Parrish of Richmond, Indiana, and Tara (Dustin) Weldy of Lewisburg, Ohio; son, Charles F. 'Chuck' (Kimberly) Paul of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Joshua Smith of Colorado, Emily (Kent) Shilts of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Gunner and Waylon Weldy of Lewisburg, Ohio; sister, Joanne Mann of Richmond, Indiana; brother, G. Daniel Paul of Greens Fork, Indiana; nephews, Jon Williams of Fountain City, Indiana, and Jim Williams of Richmond, Indiana; other nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judith Paul; parents; and brother, Robert Paul. A memorial visitation for Charles A. 'Chuck' Paul will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
