Larry E. Juerling

RICHMOND, Ind. – Larry E. Juerling, age 71, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. Born June 24, 1949, in Richmond, Indiana, to Francis and Lucille Bussen Juerling, Larry was a life-long resident of Richmond. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1967. Larry was the president of Juerling Beverage until the company closed in 1990. He then served as a maintenance worker at St. Andrew Catholic Church for 23 years before retiring. Larry was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. He was also a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus member and enjoyed participating in their bowling league. Larry was a great bowler. He belonged to the Sertoma Club, Volunteers in Policing Program, and Rock Steady Boxing at Reid Health. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed scuba diving and tinkering in his workshop. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Rosalee M. Griffith Juerling; daughters, Beth (Austin) Lipps of Richmond and Maggie (Bob) Revor of Greenwood, Indiana; granddaughter, Emma Lipps; sisters, Kathleen (Dan) Senese of Richmond, Theresa Paulette of Cincinnati, Ohio, Margaret (Steve) Ross of Spiceland, Indiana, and Lu (Chet) Dilley of Lebanon, Tennessee; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Frances Clark; and brother, Tim Juerling. The family would like to thank Reid Foundation for the Hospice Program and Hand-in-Hand Adult Day Care of Richmond for the loving care they gave to Larry. Visitation for Larry E. Juerling will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 235 South 5th Street, Richmond, with Fr. Sengole T. Gnanaraj officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
