Marilyn J. Fonseca

Marilyn J. Fonseca, age 71, of Richmond, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Heritage House of Richmond. She was born September 2, 1937, in Richmond to Earl Minnix and Anna Truett Minnix and was a resident of this area most of her life. She had moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and returned to Richmond in 1989. Marilyn was a member of Centerville Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, Jorge P. Fonseca, to whom she married August 1962; two daughters, Anita M. Thomas and her husband Tommy of Harrison, Ohio, and Jorgea M. Robles and her husband Tim of Phoenix, Arizona; son, Richardo M. Fonseca and his wife Bernice of Richmond; grandchildren, Ruben R. Holguin Jr., Andrew J. Holguin, Hope Ann Holguin, Timothy James Robles Jr., Anthony Robles, Aleynah Robles, Seth Levi Robles, Ricky Fonseca, Desirae Fonseca, Christopher Fonseca, Nathanel Fonseca, Xavior Fonseca, Jorge Fonseca, Byron S. Fonseca, Ta’Hana Sims, Mike Fonseca, and Rex Fonseca; 12 great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Alisa Robinson of Indianapolis, and Micky Blue of Phoenix, Arizona; stepson, Jorge Fonseca Jr. of Indianapolis; eight stepgrandchildren; 15 stepgreat-grandchildren; her mother, Anna Minnix of Centerville; Madeline Ford and her husband Jonathan of Greens Fork and Debra Kinder and her husband Gregg of Centerville; brothers, Loren Minnix and his wife Becky of Richmond, Bill Minnix and his wife Karen of Centerville, John Minnix and his wife Pam of Centerville and Mark Minnix and his wife Linda of Greenwood; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Minnix, and son-in-law, Ruben Holguin. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond, Indiana. Funeral service for Marilyn J. Fonseca will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Centerville Church of the Nazarene, 7181 West U.S. Hwy 40, Centerville, Indiana 47330. Rev. Russell Powell and Pastor Ray McCrary will officiate.
