RICHMOND, Ind. - Celebration for Ruth Eileen Ross; Sunrise February 26, 1924, Sunset February 15, 2013. She was born in Richmond to Ray and Callie Hensley Jackson and has been a life-long resident of the Richmond area. Ruth was a member of First Baptist Church and was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to read, crochet and cook. Survivors include her children, Lloyd (Susan) Ross of Richmond, Rev. Jerry (Judy) Ross of Morrilton, AR, Jim (Wanda) Ross of Richmond, Becky (John) Mendenhall of Richmond, Rosella (Kenneth) Fields of Westfield, Randy (Susan) Ross of Las Vegas, NV, and Sue (John) Craig of Lynn; grandchildren, Angela (Chris) Rodenberg of Colorado, Michelle (Jake) Harper of Kentucky, Ryan Ross of South Carolina, Rev. Ruth’s husband of 53 years, Loyal Ross; parents, Ray and Callie Jackson; brother, James Kutter; sister, Rose Clevenger; grandson, Jason Ray Glen Ross; and great-granddaughter, Kylie Brooke welcomed her into Heaven. Visitation for Ruth Eileen Ross will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
